Movement

This video starts with sun to the viewer's left. As the tree shadow moves across the grass, the sun seems to be moving overhead. When the building shadows start to appear, that is the sun lowering on the other side.

Closed Space Composition

The lines of this photo lead the viewer continually back to the washer opening making the photos space feel smaller.

Open Space Composition

The horizontal line of this natural bridge makes this seem like only part of the whole. The presence of so many stars indicates being away from the city in a wide expanse, along with creating a symbolism of the infinity associated with stars.

Mood 5

The rock show feel of these lights make them exciting. The sharp angles, the bright color and the intensity of these lights all aid in creating the feeling of excitement.

Mood 4

The light blue light in an otherwise dark room looks like the glare of a tv used late at night to make someone get to sleep. This blue brings a feeling of desperation.

Contrast 5

The focus of the lights on stage, and how they are specifically illuminating the people on stage contrasts the sun light which is illuminating everyone else very softly and in more of a wash manner.

Contrast 4

The brightness of the fire lighting the peoples' face and inside the balloon contrasts with the sun's even and soft distribution in the background.

Contrast 3

The distribution of the table's lighting washing over the entire foreground contrasts the setting sun's small area of distribution confined to the middle left area of the photo.

Contrast 2

The yellow warmth of the lighting outside the smaller structure contrasts with the bright whiteness of the light house's light.

Contrast 1

The brightness of the lightning (how it light up the whole sky) contrast with the dullness of the buildings' lights (how they barely light around the windows).

Fill Light 5

The fill light in this photo is actually brighter than the key light. The key light is the soft light coming from the front of this outdoor stage. The fill light is a bright series of lights (one which can be seen in the photo) in a line across the back of the stage highlighting the back of the singer and illuminating the rest of the stage.

Fill Light 4

The key light in this photo comes from a photo flash and highlights the subject's face, raised hand and a bit of the tent in the back ground. The fill light is actually the sun. This is a subtle fill light and is coming from the same direction as the key light above the subject to the left of the photo. However the fill light is  in a much broader scope which softens all the shadows which would be present if it were just the camera flash.

Fill Light 3

The key light is from the flash of a camera. The fill light is very light, it's coming from the back left of the photo slightly above the woman in the photo. The fill light is gives some illumination to the table and other lower parts of the photo.

Fill Light 2

The key light is coming from the right of the photo. The fill light is the blue street light in the left of the photo which works to soften the shadows, and offers a slight blue color.

Source 5

The red on the right side of the building is coming from neon red signs not seen in this picture. Like the neon signs shown in this picture, the light source is running parallel to the building which it is lighting.

Source 4

The source and the effect the source are present in this photo. The source is fire coming from multiple places from the back. The fire cast a warm glow to the entire photo. The source itself is a very bright yellow, and the shadows from the fire appear red and purple.

Source 3

The source of light in this photo is the sun. The sun is coming from the front left of the photo creating a highlight on the womens' faces.

Source 2

The light is coming from florescent lights inside a library. The light is above the man and off to the right of the photo creating the highlights on the tops of the pages of the book, and the shadow on the cover. There is also a highlight on the brim of the man's glasses suggesting the placement of the main light source.

Source 1

The light in this photo is coming from above the coffee from where the viewer took the picture. The source is a camera flash which makes the lit area small. The light is whit and intense creating highlights on the metal spoon.
